      Description (SOAP API)

      Progression outlines a web service.
      A web service is a computer program allowing communication and data exchange between applications and heterogeneous systems in distributed environments. Therefore, it constitutes a set of internet functionalities, by and for applications or machines, without human intervention and in real-time.

      It is a SOAP web service.
      SOAP, an acronym for Simple Object Access Protocol, is an RPC object-oriented protocol built on XML.
